Title: Music Teacher
Duties:
Teach group and private music class that provides music foundation for kindergarten and elementary school students; develop curriculum for group lessons; demonstrate musical scales, tones, and rhythm; instruct students in music theory, harmony, score, and sight reading; assign practice lessons and evaluate students’ progress. Prepare annual recital. Participate Canon Music’s outreach program.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Musical Arts; course works in early childhood education. 1 year’s experience in job offered; Experience of teaching ABRSM, or equivalent examination candidates. Music Together Workshop Certificate.
Title: Store Manager or Staff
Duties:
Manage the music store including music sheet, instrument, and music accessory sales, customer communication, purchasing, employee management, inventory management, as well as all store and school related activities.
Requirements:
– Knowledge of musical instruments and play one or more of them.
– Excellent customer service, personable attitude, multitasking, and problem solving
– Work weekdays (incl evening) and/or weekends.
– Work collaboratively with team, excellent communication skills
– Strong work ethics.
– Bilingual is a big plus
