Cheng Chi-Man (Violin)
Cheng Chi-Man was a former member of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and played as first violin for seventeen seasons. Before his tenure with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, Mr. Cheng served six seasons with the Honolulu Symphony as first violin. Mr. Cheng was also a featured soloist at the Colorado Music Festival Chamber Orchestra for Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. After studies under Vincent Frittell, former Hong Kong Philharmonic concertmaster, he received a full scholarship to attend the international Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland.
Dan Morris (Vocals)
Dan Morris is a graduated from of San Jose State University in Vocal Performing and Santa Clara University in Pastoral Liturgy. His concert highlights include being soloist in Carmina Burana, Beethoven’s 9th Symphony and Mozart’s Requiem. Dan was the Executive Director of the Schola Cantorum in Mountain View. He now is focusing on singing and teaching.
David Wang (Violin)
David has taught in the Bay area for more than 18 year. David had the privilege of studying under the illustrious Chinese violin master Sheng Zhongguo. He played with the DeAnza Chamber Orchestra in 2003 after moving to the states, and led the Young Song of Songs Youth Orchestra of San Jose for 3 years.
Isabella Pakulo (Piano)
Isabella Pakulo is an accomplished music teacher with over 35 years of experience in teaching music and classical piano. In her teaching, Isabella incorporates elements from her training in Russia, as well as some of the best practices of other piano methods, such as Suzuki. Isabella is very friendly and has a patient and dynamic teaching style. Isabella has extensive experience preparing students for music competitions, her students receiving top awards.
Jerry Baiden (Guitar)
Jerry Baiden is a guitarist, songwriter, producer, music educator, and author. He has been playing guitar for 47 years and teaching for 37 years. Jerry has been in Cupertino for the last 18 years assisting the community in music education. He teaches guitar, bass, ukulele, music notation reading, theory, and modern music history. He specializes in teaching various music styles including pop, rock, funk, blues, jazz, and country.
Jess Mak (Piano)
Jess Mak received her bachelor’s degree at University of British Columbia and furthered her master degree in piano pedagogy at Hong Kong Baptist University. She is a registered piano teacher of Royal Conservatoire of Music. She has been a piano and theory teacher for over 20 year and an experienced vocal coach for 8. Consequently her studies led her into exploration of different posture methods, such as Alexander Techniques to advance piano playing. Many of her students received high scores from ABRSM or RCM exams and some of them were award winners from music festivals.
Jessica Thomsen (Cello, String Bass, Piano)
Jessica Thomsen is a graduate of Shanghai Conservatory of music with a focus on piano performance and accompaniment as well as string. Additionally, she received her Master degree and Professional Studies Diploma from San Francisco Conservatory. As a piano teacher Jessica has taught for the Shanghai Conservatory Prep Division, Clarion Music center in San Francisco and Vibo Music Center. Ms. Thomsen teaches cello and string bass in both English and Mandarin. Some of her awards and accolades include: Winner of the San Francisco Conservatory Baroque Concerto competition (2014) and an impressive discography as a member of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra including the cinema soundtrack for “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” and playing with Yo-Yo Ma and performing at Carnegie Hall.
Karen Yu (Flute)
Karen Yu is a flute and performer in the Bay Area. She graduated from Chapman University with Music Education Major. Karen also held the position of primary music teacher for several music schools in southern California. She is also proficient at speaking both English and Mandarin. She believes that learning music not only can pursue one’s happiness and joy but also obtain a skill to the last for the rest of one’s life.
Naira Kikvidze (Piano)
Naira studied Choral Conducting, Music Theory and Piano at Sobinov State Conservatory in Saratov, Russia with degrees in conducting and teaching. She has been teaching group and individual piano lessons at schools and privately since 2003. Naira’s passion is to work with young children. Naira’s students have won numerous local competitions and music festivals. Students of all levels are actively involved in Certificate of Merit and ABRSM testing.

Zachary White holds holds a B.M. in Music Composition from San José State University. He currently teaches classical guitar, music theory and composition, writes music for acoustic, electronic and electro-acoustic instrumental mediums.
Shu-Hua Cheng (Piano)
Shu-Hua Cheng has a passion for teaching classical music to young musicians and has taught private piano lessons in the Bay Area since 2005. Ms. Cheng holds a Master’s Degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she majored in piano performance and also studied harpsichord and organ.
Conroy Jing (Percussion)
Conroy Jinq is a music educator, offering group and private lessons on piano, voice, drums and percussion, music theory and musicianship skills. Conroy studied music theory, piano, voice, drums and percussion, and electronic music at De Anza College; music composition, electroacoustic music, recording, and piano performance at San Jose State University. Conroy has worked with well over 100 individual students and 50 ensembles, over the years. He hopes to also work with you to help you on your way to becoming a better musician!
Chandler Beck (Trumpet, Trombone)
Chandler is an active chamber musician with over ten years of experience in ensembles such as woodwind quintets, brass quintets, and horn choirs. He currently serves as principal horn in the San Jose State University Wind Ensemble, New Music Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and Brass Ensemble.
